In formulating an approach for the Sushi Tango project the Meritus Construction Team needed to review many aspects of the clients current successful business while carefully listening to our client’s description of their vision for the future. The reality was simple. Their lease was coming up for renewal, the location was in transition with new ownership. The owners felt a change was required but were not sure what to do or how to initiate one. The Meritus Team produced several plans for incorporating proven methods and ebracing new strategies.
The Meritus IS MAP created a real time picture of their business in a way the client had not perceived it. Everything from lease analysis to programming. From this information, The Meritus Team incorporated the clients vision to create a SHOULD MAP. These two steps were critical in determining every aspect of their new space. Each step being very deliberate, and timely. Ultimately this up front work decides the path the project will take. Items like budget, finish schedule, layout, staffing, marketing, and the client customer experience. 
Meritus Value Engineered many custom items within the project and saved over $173k. As they say the rest is history! Today the New Sushi Tango encompasses 6209 sq ft, has a full service bar, Hibachi Tables, an Out door patio and of course their Signature Specialty…..Sushi. This remains as the most FUN sushi bar in the mid west.
